VVC BP270 Profiled Camshaft
During 2009 stock of the 270 spec VVC exhaust camshaft dried up, the short term resolution to this was to offer to re-profile your existing VVC exhaust camshaft, this meant that while you were waiting for your VVC exhauts camshaft to be returned your vehicle would be off the road.
PTP are now pleased to announce that we are now able to offer Brand New VVC exhaust camshafts to the Piper Cams 270 profile, that don’t have a surcharge or require you returning your original VVC Exhaust camshaft, this means that you can now keep your original camshaft and you don’t need to worry about your vehicle being off the road for a lengthy period.
The VVC exhaust camshaft is designed to give between 6-8bhp increase in power, this is a nice increase in power for an engine that does not have a lot of engine performance upgrade options available.
