tailpipes engraved with the Janspeed logo. The new design is much
lighter and less restrictive than the standard production silencer and
quieter than the Janspeed Supersport design. Around town and long
journeys the new Roadsport silencer is ideal, when given full throttle

The new exhaust (Janspeed S1) arrived as promised at midday today
and I had fitted to the Elise by 2.00pm. No major problems with the
fitting.The look of the exhaust is great – you can see your reflection
in it !!! Also the tail pipe looks really good.
The noise of the exhaust is exactly as you described and just as I
wanted it. Not so loud that it would make a long journey uncomfortable
but just enough to bring on a stupid grin when pushing it through the
gears. Also the engine does seem to be revving a little more freely
through the gears this despite the fact the rest of the exhaust is
completely standard.
