Following years
of experience designing induction systems for F1, rally and touring
cars at world championship level, itg are now making purpose designed
air boxes to form the core of a super efficient air intake system.
Attention to detail and huge performance gains are the key to this
exceptional system. Based around the remarkable AB65 carbon fibre
airbox, we see a much smoother torque curve and a peak power increase
of 8bhp at 500 less rpm on this installation. The kit is suitable for all 1.6 and 1.8
(including VVC) litre models of the MGTF and Trophy 160 from 2001
onwards, testing has shown when fitted to a standard 1.8i 120ps engine
the power increased by over 8bhp at the road wheel with fantastic gains
in overall torque and acceleration.
