The original OE rubber hose can easily expand when the brake fluid heats up creating a softer brake pedal. These Goodgridge brake hoses are made from Stainless steel braided teflon which does not expand at all so you get a firmer brake pedal. The hoses are supplied with stainless steel overbraid and a Teflon lining inner and come withb a choiuce of stainless steel fittings or zink plated fittings.
