The Omega forged pistons are machined to PTP’s own design and utalise a fully floating gudgen pin. Because these pistons are stronger than standard pistons they are recommended for use in high performance engines or as a direct replacement in either a standard engine or VHPD spec engine.
The pistons are suitable for all use in all 1.6 & 1.8 K Series engines (inc. VVC & VHPD spec engines), the compression ratio is 11.2:1 and they are supplied complete with a full set of piston rings (top, second and oil ring), gudgen pin and gudgen pin clips
To strengthen the engine further we would recommend using Forged or Steel conroads and Crankshaft.
