The VHPD short engine is an ideal replacement for any 1.8 K series where you require stronger components for higher power output or as a direct replacement for a failed engine. Components included within the VHPD short engine are:
- Forged pistons with up-rated piston rings
- Stronger forged conrods
- 17% Stronger forged crankshaft
- Vandervell heavy duty big end bearings
- New cylinder block
- Piston liners
- Water pump
- Oil pump
- Sump
- Oil filter and housing.
The short engine is ready for immediate fitment to the intended cylinder head and dress components to offer a cost effective alternative to people needing a stronger bottom end or direct replacement for a VHPD bottom end.
