Forged Conrods
1.8 litre forged conrods machined
to PTP requirements to stop 'Bearing spin' at high rpm speeds. Used in
all 190ps VHPD engines as standard specification or recommended for any
1.8 litre K series engines producing over 160ps and engine speeds up to
7800rpm.
Steel Conrods
For use in 1.8 litre high
performance K series engines. Recommended for power outputs in excess
of 200ps and engine speeds up to 8500rpm. Machined from 4340 chrome
moly forgings, shot peened and balanced, these super rods are fitted
with special SPS rod bolts made from an exclusive multiphase material
for a totally bullet proof part. Precision manufacturing, high strength
and quality combine to form a connecing rod that will perform
flawlessly.
