The 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and Sport Cat have been specifically designed for all models of the S2 Lotus Elise and Exige (with Toyota engine). Increased power and mid range torque are gained when installed to either a standard engine or the factory up rated engine. By fitting the manifold and sports cat test results have shown an average of 5-6bhp increase in power through the engine rev range.
The Sports Cat uses a less dense cell pattern to allow greater exhaust gas flow through the body of the catalyst leading to increased power, and has been manufactured so that it is still capable of passing the UK MOT emissions test.
The system is produced in high grade stainless steel; the 4-2-1 manifold comes with a lifetime guarantee, while the sports cat comes with an 18 months guarantee. The system is supplied complete with all brackets and clamps required for fitment.
Janspeed catalysts achieve Euro 4 emissions with a 200 Cpsi high flow ceramic and have a minimum of 60 Grams of coating, with a ratio of 5:1 Pd:Rh, most after markets catalysts will have the minimum coating necessary which is 20 grams.
